Mallorca-based airline, Air Europa, has announces the appointment of Briton Richard Clark as its new Chief Executive Officer, reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence and international growth.
Air Europa, is the third largest Spanish airline after Iberia and Vueling. The airline is headquartered in Llucmajor. It has its main hub at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport with focus city operations at Palma airport and Tenerife North Airport. Air Europa flies to over 44 destinations in Spain, the rest of Europe, South America, North America, the Caribbean, Morocco and Tunisia. Since September 2007, Air Europa has been a member of the SkyTeam alliance.
With a solid track record at the company, the former Managing Director has played a key role in the transformation and development of Air Europa. Since joining the company in 1987, he has led strategic areas and projects of great importance, strengthening the position of the Madrid Barajas hub as a bridge between Europe and America and consolidating the airline as a benchmark in international connectivity.
Clark's in-depth knowledge of the business, together with his strategic vision and renowned management and negotiation skills, have made him a leading figure in the industry.
