Autumn is here, and Mallorca is starting to slow down after the busy summer months. The island is set to take on a different charm this time of year—golden light, quieter streets, and plenty of local events to enjoy. Whether you live here or are visiting, this guide will give you a taste of what’s on in Mallorca this autumn 2025.
Mallorca Burger Fest
One of the highlights this autumn is the Mallorca Burger Fest, taking place from 2 to 5 October at Son Fusteret (Camí Vell de Bunyola, Nord, 07009 Palma). This isn’t just a burger competition – it’s a full-blown food festival, featuring 20 food trucks and stalls serving everything from classic favourites to inventive gourmet creations. The event is packed with extra activities, including live concerts, DJ sets, and children’s activities on Saturday and Sunday morning, making it perfect for families or a day out with friends.
Here’s the schedule:
- Thursday 2 October, 6.30pm to midnight: official opening and first tastings
- Friday 3 October, 6.30pm to midnight: burgers, live music, and DJs
- Saturday 4 October, 12pm to midnight: burgers, live music, DJs, and morning children’s activities
- Sunday 5 October, 12pm to midnight: morning children’s activities and the grand finale, when a professional jury selects the three winning burgers
The festival offers a fantastic atmosphere for all ages, with free entry, parking, and access by public transport, so the only question is… how many burgers will you try?
Monsters World Tour
For adrenaline fans, the Monsters World Tour is coming to Mallorca from 4 to 19 October at Son Fusteret (Camí Vell de Bunyola, Nord, 07009 Palma). This spectacular American show puts monster trucks front and centre, offering heart-pounding action for visitors of all ages.
Audiences will hear the roar of the engines as drivers perform seemingly impossible stunts, relying on balance, precision, and skill. Expect 180° and 360° drifts, two-wheeled tractor tricks, high-risk jumps over multiple vehicles, and thrilling crash sequences. The most spectacular moments come when the massive monster trucks take to the arena, crushing, leaping, and smashing through obstacles such as scrap metal and other cars. A highlight for Palma is The Meg, a monster truck with a shark-shaped body making its island debut.
Event schedule: shows run Thursday to Sunday from 4 to 19 October, with performances typically in the afternoon and evening (check official times when booking). The venue offers parking and easy access by public transport, making it simple to attend with family or friends. This is a must-see show for all ages, combining high-octane action with jaw-dropping stunts – the perfect way to experience something truly different this autumn in Mallorca.

Palma's first Fira del Variat
Palma is preparing to celebrate a unique event honouring one of the jewels of Balearic gastronomy: the variat mallorquí. A hallmark of Mallorcan cuisine, the variat is a single plate that combines small portions of traditional dishes such as Russian salad, meatballs, croquettes, calamari, stews or tumbet. Each bar or café serves its own version, making it a varied and improvised experience that reflects the island’s culinary creativity. More than just food, it is a social ritual, often enjoyed with bread, olives and a drink, embodying Mallorca’s culture of sharing and conviviality.
This traditional dish will take centre stage at the first-ever Variat Fair, scheduled for 27 and 28 September in Plaça de Pere Garau. The fair aims to be more than a culinary showcase, positioning itself as a cultural and social meeting point in one of Palma’s most vibrant and diverse neighbourhoods. Known for its lively municipal market and cosmopolitan atmosphere, Plaça de Pere Garau provides the ideal backdrop for a festival blending tradition and modernity.
Festivities begin on Saturday 27 September at 7pm with electronic music from DJs Juanmi Esteban and Cirko. Sunday’s programme will run from 10am until late, offering storytelling, book signings, traditional parades, live dance, circus workshops, and children’s activities. Visitors will also enjoy performances by La Gran Filharmònica Porrerenca, live bands, DJs, and a grand closing show by drag queens Lolita Khaos and Chris Mental, ensuring the fair ends with colour, diversity, and celebration.
The Rocky Horror Show

Running at Palma’s Auditorium from 16th to 19th October across six performances, the show follows Brad and Janet, two innocent college students whose car breaks down outside a mysterious mansion. There, they encounter the flamboyant Dr Frank-n-Furter, leading to an unforgettable adventure of music, frolics, and fun. Directed by Christopher Luscombe, the English-language production features classics like Time Warp and Sweet Transvestite, with live West End music, promising a vibrant, inclusive theatrical experience.
Show information: Taking place from 16th to the 19th of October, featuring six performances. Tickets available on Palma Auditorium's website from 29.50€ per person. The show's duration is approx. 2 hours, including the interval.
Drive-In Cinema at Port Adriano
Enjoy a film from the comfort of your own car! In collaboration with the Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival, taking place in Mallorca at the same time, a special drive-in cinema event will feature the screening of four films.
Simply drive your car down to the port, tune in to the designated radio frequency, and experience cinema like never before. Screenings will take place in the central square of Port Adriano.
Capacity is limited to 40 cars, and vehicles taller than 1.5 metres will not be admitted. Two people per car is recommended, as rear seats have limited visibility, though up to four can attend in each vehicle.
Tickets are 10€ per car, per film. Film titles will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
Sankt Martin at Puerto Portals
Puerto Portals will celebrate the tenth edition of Sankt Martin, a traditional European festival that invites children and families to enjoy a magical evening under lantern light.
On November 15th, from 5pm to 8pm, the event returns with a special purpose: raising funds for Fundación Rana, a Balearic Islands-based non-profit dedicated to preventing child abuse and sexual maltreatment.
Children from four years old can participate by registering in advance. On the day, attendees collect a game card at the information booth and complete an activity circuit, including lantern-making and cookie workshops, a storytelling session, and the Sankt Martin walk. Completed cards contribute to donations, with Puerto Portals adding €3 per finished activity to the charity.
As night falls, Sankt Martin appears on horseback, and children light up the marina streets with their lanterns. The evening concludes with hot chocolate and cookies, offering a magical and charitable experience for all.
