The yellow alerts for rain and thunderstorms in the Tramuntana, north/northeast and east will continue past midnight Tuesday until 4am Wednesday.
Weather stations are predicting something of a mixed bag on Wednesday. Rain, once the alerts end, is unlikely and there should be good amounts of sun for most of the island. But in areas, especially in the southeast and northeast, it could be quite cloudy. Forecast highs of around 25C on Wednesday.
Thursday is expected to be a generally decent day - good amounts of sun - but on Friday and Saturday more rain is forecast. At present, the probability of rain is higher on Saturday than on Friday - up to 75%. Aemet has as yet given no indication of heavy rain; we'll have to see how this pans out.
On Tuesday, as can be seen below, rainfall up to 4.30pm wasn't as heavy as the alerts had suggested.
